Çalıştığı hastanede uzun saatler mesai yapmak zorunda kalan Maggie’nin oğlunu komşusu Vincent’a emanet etmekten başka şansı kalmaz. Fakat Vincent, alkole ve kumara düşkünlüğü ile bilinen emekli, huysuz bir adamdır. Günler geçtikçe Vincent ve Oliver arasında sıra dışı bir ilişki doğar, zira Vincent striptiz barlar ya da at yarışları gibi günlük aktivitelerine Oliver’ı da dahil eder!
